Week 6

The exercise and assessment process that Dacher talks about on page 116 is very interesting.  Although I did my reading this morning and my exercises I do think that it will be beneficial to do this exercise throughout the week.  I know that I need to work on my psychospiritual flourishing because when I do these exercises I continue to get distracted when I have a lot to do.  The area that I choose to focus on and grow is my psychospiritual and I am going to do this by continuing to do these exercises and my meditation.

  1. Tamara, It can be had sometimes to get your mind settled enough to accomplish these exercises. I find that if I can get some place quiet and leave the phone and the computer in another room it really helps with these exercises. I understand I get distracted so easy. Life happens and we have to work around it. Make a little time for yourself if you can, it's worth it....Melissa

  2. Tamara - I was a little overwhelmed by trying to get a grip on the bigger picture and trying to develop some kind of vision for my integral health practices. I think there are areas in my life that are screaming for attention and I need to literally calm down and pick one spot to start making a difference. I like the meditations that we've done since it is teaching me how to look inside first to let it flow from within to the world around me. Keep on keepin' on, Barbara

  3. Tamara,

I too feel a bit sidetracked when I try these exercises. It has begun to be an eye-opening experience. I am realizing that I do need to work on this and after a while I will begin to see results. I do feel that if I continue these exercises, I will begin to feel how I think I should while doing them. Working on my psychospiritual side is something I plan on focusing on in the future as well.
